Community Gala Display in Renwick

Along with other Wairau Valley artists, I was asked to put on a display of my work at the Renwick Anglican Church Gala.  The event was organised to raise funds for the church.

On a sunny 28 degree day, I was happy to have my display in the cool of the church itself.  Many kind people commented on my work and I had some interesting discussions about the different woods I use.

Among these were a lovely couple on holiday from Israel who took home one of my desk boxes as a memento for their trip to New Zealand.
