Working on a box ... Eastern Sun (Part 3)

Box sides having had a groove routed to accept the plywood base, are aligned ready to be glued and assembled. The front panel of the box has a curved top.

​Box assembly with its leather covered base. Off cuts from corner posts are taped back on to square up the clamps. Take the phone off the hook and apply glue to mortice and tenons. Slide in base, align and clamp sides, check for square with rule or squaring rods and then breathe a sigh of relief. Leave well alone for 24 hrs!
